Pantry & Place offers beautiful, story-led imagery inspired by the rituals of gathering, cooking, and sharing food. Whether you're creating a cookbook, developing recipes, launching a food product, or building a lifestyle brand, I focus on more than just the finished dish — capturing the ingredients, hands, textures, preparation, and atmosphere that give food meaning. In a typical 3–8 hour shoot, the result is a collection of imagery that feels authentic, timeless, and full of character.
Pantry & Place works with:
- Cookbook authors and recipe developers
- Food brands and artisan producers
- Chefs and food writers
- Editorial and publication clients
- Lifestyle and homeware brands
- Farm-to-table and sustainable food businesses
A curated gallery of professionally edited images, delivered in both high-resolution and web-ready (low-resolution) formats — ready for your website, social media, press features, and marketing materials.
Every session is unique, but typically covers:
- Ingredient and produce photography
- Cooking and preparation processes
- Hands-in-frame storytelling
- Seasonal tablescapes
- Food styling and finished dishes
- Kitchen and home environments
- Artisan craftsmanship
- Brand and lifestyle imagery
Each project starts with a questionnaire covering your goals, creative direction, styling preferences, and intended usage. From there, we'll build a simple shot list and visual approach together — one that makes the most of our time while leaving room for natural, unexpected moments to unfold.
Every session adapts to your story and location, but a typical day includes:
- Location walkthrough and creative planning
- Ingredient and produce photography
- Preparation and cooking processes
- Styled food and finished dishes
- Hands-in-frame and lifestyle storytelling
- Brand details and supporting imagery
- Portraits
- Final detail and atmosphere photographs
I have a small collection of carefully chosen props available to use during editorial food shoots, including ceramics, cutlery, linens, vintage plates, boards and other considered details. These can be used to complement your existing pieces and help create a cohesive, relaxed look without taking away from the character of your space or food.
Sessions can take place in a home kitchen, studio, farm, workshop, outdoor setting, or any location connected to your brand's story.. A shoot is usually a half day (3 hours) or a full day (6 hours), but can also be tailored to your needs.
